In December of 2016 I was 355lbs. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and declared borderline diabetic. My doctor wrote a stack of prescriptions out and told me to start immediately.

I was not too fond of the idea of taking pills the rest of my life so I decided to do something about it. I went to school for nutrition and dietetics that following semester. I started dieting with all the known major programs out there Atkins , Weight Watchers , Vegan , Keto , Isogenix etc. Some worked for a while then just made things worse by damaging my metabolism or making me feel sick.

I realized that everyone is different, we all have unique genetics different jobs and different ways of life. How can one diet be mass produced for the millions really even work?


Truth is they don’t! I learned that a diet needs to be tailored to you and your specific bodily needs. I also learned your diet should change periodically as the body will adapt. I started to create my own diet custom to my body, changing it periodically as my body changed.

Fast forward a little over a year later, and I lost 186 lbs! I no longer take any medications or huff and puff out of breath when walking up the stairs. I am the fittest healthiest version of myself and couldn’t be happier.
